Letter: Many brought Christmas to town

The Rappahannock Hospitality & Visitors Association would like to thank everyone who made Christmas in Little Washington such a wonderful day on Sunday. To borrow a phrase, “It takes a county to put on a festival,” and so many people from so many different parts of our county helped that there isn’t space here to name individually everyone who contributed.

To all of you — the marching bands, students and animals (and their shepherds), the Lions Club members and Sheriff’s deputies who managed traffic, “Santa,” the musical performers, the artisans and food vendors, volunteers who set up and those who picked up trash, and to those of you who cheered everything on — we say thank you. Denise Chandler, Diane MacPherson and Kevin Adams led the planning and organizing.

Christmas in Little Washington is paid for by the 60 county businesses who are members of RHVA. It is our gift to our neighbors and friends and we hope you enjoyed yourselves. Thanks to all of you who joined us in celebrating!
