Thank you to the 38 hardy souls who braved the cold on Jan. 12 to come out and donate blood at the Washington fire hall. The Red Cross collected 34 pints of usable blood, which surpassed our goal of 30. There were also four first-time donors. Way to go!
We also thank Ann Spieker for allowing us to hold the bloodmobile at the fire hall.
We hope all those who participated in this blood drive will encourage friends and family to give the gift of life by donating blood. Look for our next drive at the fire hall to be sometime in July.
