This is a very rare thing: almost none of us around here is named for a president of these United States, so I feel quite privileged. Hayes is my name. I’m a year and a half old with a happy tail that is always in motion. And here’s my announcement: I am a Cardigan Welsh Corgi and that’s the breed that has been chosen to be in the Macy’s parade next Thanksgiving. Can’t you just see it? A great Corgi balloon floating down Broadway! OMG!
