Letter: Businesses Link up

The Feb. 15 gathering of Rappahannock Business Link was attended by nearly 50 professionals and enjoyed by all. Chef Victor of Griffin Tavern provided delicious food, and Jim and Debbie Donehey were underwriters for the gathering. Narmada Winery’s wines were served through the generosity of Sudha and Pandit Patil.

The business professionals present shared stories, laughed together and exchanged business cards and brochures. The conversation was lively. All in attendance seemed to agree that this is an event worth attending.

Many thanks, as well, go to these additional sponsors who made this event possible: Bill Dietel, Dietel Partners, LLC; Jason Brady, Union First Market Bank; Greg Williams, Williams Landscaping and Tree Service; Erwin Opitz, Optiz Construction; Ron Makela, Yellow Brick Road Home Maintenance; Cathie Shiff, Wits End Farm; Alex Sharp, Thomas and Talbot Real Estate; Bill Pragluski, Critical Stages. Katie Pricer of Pricer Insurance was the winner of the door prize, a free sponsorship for the next event.

The next events at the Link are scheduled for the third Tuesdays in May, August and November. If you would like to be a sponsor, or have other comments or questions, contact Jason Brady, (540-675-3736), Brad Barnes, (540-552-7294) or Jan Makela (540-675-1373).
