The two Rappahannock sisters headed home from work in this Jeep were injured Monday afternoon when they collided, according to a Fauquier deputy’s report, with a truck at U.S. 211 and Route 688 (Leeds Manor Road). Sharon Gail Jenkins, 47, of Sperryville, and her sister, Brenda Woodward, 49, of Washington, were reported in stable condition early Wednesday at Inova Fairfax Hospital, where they were airlifted after the crash. The driver of the truck, who police said was eastbound on 211 and attempted to turn left onto 688, was Stanley Whitten Einstein, 58, of Flint Hill; he was charged with failure to yield, and was treated at Fauquier Hospital. Police said Jenkins, who was driving, was not wearing a seatbelt.
