Between its final two formal performances this weekend, the Castleton Festival is offering two more free concerts Sunday, July 24: noon at the Manor House Cafe, a Steven Sondheim-inspired cabaret featuring singers from the Castleton Festival; and 2 p.m. at the Theatre House, a chamber music performance with festival musicians. For reservations and information, visit castletonfestival.org or call 866-974-0767.

The Maazels’ third annual up-and-coming performers’ festival ends with a final performance of an stunningly well-staged operetta double-bill on Saturday (July 23) at 2 p.m. in the Festival Tent on Hope Hill Road: Kurt Weill’s “Seven Deadly Sins” and Ravel’s “L’enfant et les sortilèges.” On Sunday at 4, festival director Lorin Maazel and pianist Marouan Benabdallah close out the festival with a concert featuring works by Prokofiev and Rimsky-Korsakov in the Festival Tent.
