Letter: Jingle Bell rocked, thanks to . . .

On behalf of the 4-H Community Club, we would like to thank everyone who donned their jingle bells and ran (or walked) for the “Shop with a Deputy” program. We love our sponsors: Kritter Cropdusting, Blue Ridge Graphics, the Child Care and Learning Center (CCLC), Ed’s Awards & Engraving, RoadID and Tri Performance!

Thank you to our local merchants who came through with spectacular door prizes: Beech Spring Gift Shop, Burgers ‘N Things, Country Cafe, Flint Hill Public House and Country Inn, Greg Williams Tree Service, Griffin Tavern, Knakal’s Bakery, Merry Moo Market, Mountainside Dance, Rudy’s Pizza, Tula’s Off Main, 24 Crows, World Bean Roasters and Wal-Mart.

And finally, a big thanks to our leaders, Lynne Kritter and Amy Burnett, whose guidance is priceless. You all helped to make our second annual Jingle Bell 5K Run & Walk a huge success and the holidays a little brighter for a lot of children. Happy holidays, everyone!
