Letter: An apology, and a second screening

The Rappahannock Association for the Arts and the Community (RAAC) owes the Rappahannock community an apology for Friday night’s showing of Ron Maxwell’s “Copperhead” at the Theatre. It is truly a meticulously scored and beautifully photographed film, but due to RAAC’s equipment failure, the attendees didn’t have the opportunity to enjoy this state-of-the-art film. We apologize to the nearly full house Friday evening, and to director Ron Maxwell, who was so kind as to allow RAAC to show the film. RAAC will reschedule a showing as soon as possible.

RAAC has rescheduled a second showing of the film at 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25 at the Theatre, with no charge to the public and a new DVD/Blu-ray player for the projector in operation.
