Letter: ‘He will be missed by all he touched’

The Brown family would like to thank everyone for their cards, phone calls, visits, prayers, food, donations and continued support during Strother Brown’s illness and passing. The large attendance at the funeral home and at his church service was indicative of the many lives he touched through his smile, sense of humor and love of life.

We would also like to thank Rev. Sara Keeling for the beautiful service and Rev. John Heddleston for his contribution, as well as all who contributed and arranged the lovely luncheon following the service. Thank you also to Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church for offering their Fellowship Hall for the luncheon reception.

We would also like to thank Scott Found from Found and Sons Chapel and Funeral Home for making those difficult days easier with his sincere compassion and by doing everything we requested, no matter how big or small.

Strother Brown will be missed and remembered by all he touched. We miss you and thank you — husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
