RAWL Dogs: Farley

Farley
Farley

My breed originated with British coal miners in the 19th century, in the region of Staffordshire, when they bred a Manchester terrier and a bulldog. Our popular name is pit bull terrier and we’re affectionate, intelligent, trustworthy and have a sense of humor. Me, personally . . . I’m 2 years old, male, about 50 pounds, housebroken and working on obedience (very good at “sit”). I’m medium energy and fine with a good walk or just hanging out. Hope you can come by; I’m ready for a new home.

Over the past three weeks, seven of my canine colleagues were joined with new owners. The Rappahannock Animal Welfare League (RAWL), 160 Weaver Road, Amissville, is open 8 to 1 daily. Call 540-937-3283 or visit www.rawldogs.org.
