Fairfax County Police say a 32-year-old Flint Hill woman robbed a McDonald’s in Springfield just before midnight on March 31.

Police said Ericka Lynn Jenkins Miller entered the fast-food restaurant at 5506 Backlick Road and allegedly demanded money, assaulted an employee, took an unknown amount of cash and fled in a vehicle.

A responding officer pursued the vehicle to I-495, where it crashed, police said.

Miller remains at Fairfax County’s adult detention center, denied bond on two felony charges (robbery and eluding police) and a charge of driving while intoxicated. A hearing is scheduled for June 16.
