Nine Rappahannock Lions Club members gathered earlier this month for the club’s latest service project — installing a concrete accessibility ramp and rail at the Water Street home of Lillie Corbin in Sperryville. The volunteer crew used 24 bags of cement and a mixer from K&M Rentals in Culpeper to complete the Friday morning project. Taking part were Lions (from left) Frank Raiter, Roger Andrews, Jim Manwaring, Yogi Bear, Ross O’Donoghue (with tools), Joel Daczewitz and Jim Blubaugh. (Not shown: Larry Grove and Bill Pragluski.)
