RAWL Dogs: Poppy

I’m a bit-of-a-beagle named Poppy. I was wanderin’ around town as a stray and was lucky to be brought here to RAWL, where I can have people look for my new home rather than having to do it myself. As you can see from my photo, I check out people I meet for a while at first, but I warm up quickly. I only weigh about 15 pounds, and am crate trained and housebroken. A fenced yard is a must in my new home — which could be yours. Let’s “talk.”

In the past week, two of my canine colleagues were joined with new owners. The Rappahannock Animal Welfare League (RAWL), 160 Weaver Rd., Amissville, is open 8 to 1 daily. Call 540-937-3283 or visit www.rawldogs.org.
