Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection president Rick Kohler, left, gets ready to head out on RLEP’s first Paul Farmer Hike in Shenandoah National Park with Aleta Gadino (center) and Kathy Pousch on a beautiful June Saturday morning in Rappahannock County. With what will become an annual hike, RLEP hopes to honor the late Farmer’s legacy of active service benefiting our community. As RLEP’s president for many years, Farmer was passionate and committed to preserving the natural resources and rural character of the county. He also enjoyed hiking in Rappahannock and the park.
