RAWL Dogs: Erin

Erin
Erin

Mornin’, name’s Erin and I’m looking for my home. It’s Erin, as in “Erin go Bragh,” meaning “Ireland Forever!” Where in the heck these RAWL people got Erin for a German shepherd I’ll never know! But it’s a pretty girl’s name and fits my sweetness and friendliness with almost anyone — human or dog — I meet. I’m about 5 years old and weigh 70 pounds. My breed was originally used to herd sheep but I stick with tennis balls — they’re smarter! A visit sooner rather than later would be great. Danke (thank you).

In the past week, none of our canine colleagues was joined with new owners. The Rappahannock Animal Welfare League (RAWL), 160 Weaver Rd., Amissville, is open 8 to 1 daily. Call 540-937-3283 or visit www.rawldogs.org.
