The quarterly Rappahannock Business Link (Biz Link) networking socials continue to thrive! The latest event, hosted by Flint Hill Public House (thanks to the efforts of John Gruber, Marvin Swaner and their wonderful staff), was attended by approximately 45 members of our Rappahannock business community, with flyers and business cards in hand!
Thanks to Rappahannock Cellars, we had delicious wines on hand for our guests. Through the generous support of our ever-changing event sponsors we are able to invite members to attend the events free of charge.
Special thanks go to the sponsors of our most recent event: E. Fletcher Construction, Eddie Fletcher; Flourish Root, Jen Perrot; Horse and Hound, Sheila Whaley; Morningside Press, Bud Meyer and Anne Robertson; Neighborhood Nurse, Martha Hughes; Tech Support, Mark Heinle; and the Rappahannock News for helping us publicize these events.
If you have not joined Businesses of Rappahannock, please sign up today. Just email Biz Rapp secretary Jen Perrot at email@example.com to request a membership form, or stop by Real Estate III on Gay Street in Washington, and I’ll be happy to help you.
Our hardworking Biz Link Committee — Mark Heinle; Donna McConn, Golden Retreat for K9’s; Kim Nelson of the Hair Gallery; and Clare Turner of Virginia Chutney — is committed to providing opportunities for our county’s business leaders to meet and support one another in social settings around Rappahannock.
