Drug, DUI arrests

As a result of a traffic stop Nov. 12 by Rappahannock County Sheriff’s Deputy W. Ubben at Sperryville Pike and Johnson Farm Lane, Michael Edward Jackson, 40, of Haywood, Va., was arrested and charged with felony marijuana possession with intent to distribute.  

That same day, Deputy M. Dodson responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on Castleton Ford Road and encountered Thomas Vernon Martin, 54, of Castleton. Martin was subsequently arrested and charged with driving under the influence.  

On Nov. 15, Deputy C. Koglin stopped a vehicle for a traffic infraction on U.S. 522 (Sperryville Pike).  The driver, 45-year-old Anna Marie Maher of Sperryville, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence.
