Cumulus effect

Between the many (and, in many cases, mini) storms hereabouts over the last week, it’s been a good spell for cloudspotting — for instance, according to one frequent spotter, these cumulus clouds over a field of wildflowers along Fletchers Mill Road in Sperryville, some of which might be headed toward becoming cumulonimbus (or thunderheads).
