At a reception Sunday at the home of RAAC president Matthew Black and his wife, artist Barbara Black, recipients gratefully accepted checks for Claudia Mitchell Fund grant awards, which went to 18 artists and totaled $33,240, with awards ranging from $500 to $3,600.
