Culpeper NAACP is hosting a bus ride to the Million Man March 20th Anniversary to Washington D.C. on Saturday, Oct. 10 (refreshments will be served). Tickets are $35; deadline to sign up is Sept. 17. Bus leaves Culpeper Library at 6:30 a.m. and departs D.C. at 5 p.m., with a stop to eat on the way home and arriving in Culpeper at about 9:30 p.m. For more, visit naacpculpeper.com.

The Blue Ridge Chorale, a community chorus serving Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison, Orange and Rappahannock counties, begins its fall/winter season soon. The adult chorus’ first rehearsal, under the direction of Bob Burnett, is 6:30 p.m. Aug. 24 at Open Door Baptist Church (754 Germanna Hwy., Culpeper).
