Washington Volunteer Fire and Rescue announced the addition of five new members recently — four of the five being certified to drive the company’s ambulances, two having recently become certified wildland firefighters and one enrolled in the upcoming summer EMT class. “New volunteers are always welcome and needed for a wide range of tasks around the firehouse,” says a WVFR spokesperson. “Contact your local fire and rescue today to inquire about the many volunteer opportunities available!” From left are new members Karl Brotzman, Kay Clark, Ellie Clark, Sean Knick and Sean Michael Knick.
