Clinton: A president’s character is the nation’s fate

I’ve been around long enough to have voted in 12 previous presidential elections. So, out of curiosity, I just now scribbled out a spreadsheet to discover that I voted for the Democratic candidate six times, the Republican five times, and an Independent once. The man, not the party, always gets my vote; and this year that vote goes to a woman — Hillary Rodham Clinton. I urge you to do the same — for the sake of the country and the world. The Republican candidate, Donald J. Trump, lacks the character, temperament, experience, knowledge and judgment to be the President of the United States of America.

Trump: The war candidate vs. the peace candidate

If you believe that it is the duty and responsibility of the United States to be the policeman of the world, to spread democracy by military force in every corner of the globe, to forcibly remove dictators everywhere, to intervene militarily in foreign civil wars, to take sides between religious sects or deep-seated ethnic feuds, to use the American military to enforce a utopian world order by means of regime change and nation-building, then Hillary Clinton is your candidate. If you believe the U.S. armed forces should be used only in defense of the United States and its national security (including its closest allies), then Donald Trump is your candidate.
