The Rappahannock Association for the Arts and Community (RAAC) screens “Hell or High Water” at 7 p.m. at the Little Washington Theatre (subtitles will be shown). Directed by David Mackenzie and written by Taylor Sheridan, the R-rated, “Hell or High Water” is a 2016 classic American Western and thriller in one. The film follows two brothers (Chris Pine and Ben Foster) who carry out a series of bank robberies to save their family ranch, while being pursued by two Texas Rangers (Jeff Bridges and Gil Birmingham). “Hell or High Water” received four nominations at the 2017 Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Supporting Actor for Bridges, Best Original Screenplay and Best Film Editing.
