Hoover Ridge Park is hosing the first-ever Wool and Wine Festival at 158 Fairgrounds Road, Madison, from 11 a.m to 4 p.m. The festival will be in conjunction with the annual sheepdog trials that bring dogs and handlers from all over the East Coast. There will also be wool vendors and educational demonstrations and displays onsite. In the Wine Tasting tent, there will be showcasing local wineries. Wine Tasting tickets are $15 presale (ends April 20), $20 the day of the event. The wool vendors and educational displays will be under the Carpenter Pavilion and access to that area, as well as the Sheep Dog Trials is free. The event will be held rain or shine.
