Attic Treasures adds farm products to store
Clyde Pullen, owner of Attic Treasures in Sperryville, has added a new addition to his business - a farm market.
Attic Treasures, which carries antiques, has been in operation for 12 years.
Pullen said that the antique business has been slow and he thought by adding the farm market, it would bring in new customers. He said his intention was not to compete with other farm markets but to try to draw more customers into his business.
The market has a huge selection from which to choose including the best sweet cider you ever tasted, 12 kinds of nuts, jams and preserves, relishes, apple butter, pumpkin butter, honey, soft drinks, golden apples and red delicious apples. You name it, he has it.
If you are looking for a gift for Christmas and not sure what to buy, Pullen's sister, Kathy Pullen, will make up baskets and customers can select items to fill them. The cost of a small basket is $29.95 and for a large one, $39.95.
Pullen said “down the road he would add other items to the market.”
The market is open from Monday through Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The best thing about the market is customers do not have to travel far to find a special Christmas gift.
