Hospice workshops help cope with grief during the holidays
Hospice of the Rapidan is offering free workshops for people who are grieving the loss of a family member, loved one or close friend this holiday season.Facing the holidays can be especially difficult when dealing with the loss of a loved one. The program offers participants the opportunity to discuss their issues, concerns, and questions with others who are going through similar experiences and to get assistance from Hospice's grief support team. All members of the public are welcome and no prior affiliation with Hospice is necessary.
Participants may choose among three sessions. The first workshop is on Tuesday, Dec. 9 at the Warrenton Visitor’s Center at 33 North Calhoun Street, from 2-3:30 p.m.
The next two workshops are on Thursday, Dec. 11 at Hospice of the Rapidan, 1200 Sunset Lane, Suite 2320, Mulberry Commons, Culpeper. The afternoon workshop is from 2-3:30 p.m. and the evening workshop is from 6:30-8 p.m. Pre-registration is appreciated but not necessary.
