RCSSA thanks community
The members of the Rappahannock County School Sports Association (RCSSA) would like to thank the Board of Supervisors and county government, the School Board and the community for their vote to support our endeavor to provide lighting at Panther Stadium and the baseball/softball complex. Fifteen of 29 teams, including football, cheerleading, boys and girls soccer, boys and girls track, baseball, and softball, plus the Panther Band, as well as parents and other community groups, will directly benefit from their decision.RCSSA is an organization comprised of citizens dedicated to helping the Rappahannock County public school system. We support academics as well as athletics; our members are the same people who are involved with The Headwaters Foundation, CCLC, PTO, CEP, Band Boosters and other volunteer organizations in our community. We donate time, money and hard work to fund and support Rappahannock's public schools and would embrace any and all assistance in helping us reach our goals. Please join us in September for the Panther Golf Tournament, in October for the Sperryville 5K Run and “Nite at the Races,” or participate in the Miss Skyline Pageant, purchase a field advertisement sign, or, most importantly, attend a sporting event and visit the concession stand.
If you have a bold vision, donations are accepted and, when requested, may be kept anonymous. We meet at 6 p.m. on the third Monday of each month at the RCHS library. Once again, thank you for your continued support. To quote a local legend, “Play Ball!”
