Coach Richie Burke is a happy camper these days. His girls softball team is sitting in second place in the Bull Run District with a 5-3 record. They have won three of their last four district games. They currently have two district games left - one this Friday and the following Tuesday.

May 6 - Manassas Park

Winning Pitcher Amanda Smoot

Rapp. had
15 hits to score 10 runs over MP leading the hitting was Carter 3 for 5 with 2 singles and 1 Double with 2 RBI’s, Smoot went 3 for 5 with all singles ,Johns went 3 for 5 with singles and 3 RBI’s and Megan Lee was 2 for 4 with 1 RBI

May 1 - Clarke

Smoot pitched
9 innings of shut out ball, she gave up 6 hits but along with a strong Rapp. defense to hold Clarke scoreless in this extra inning ballgame.Leading the hitting was Smoot with 3 singles, Megan Lee had the game winning RBI in the bottom of the 9th to give Rapp the go ahead run.

April 29 - Madison

Losing Pitcher Crystal Heflin

Rapp was held to only 4 hits as a team, Megan Early was 2 for 3 for the game.
