On Thursday, March 4, the Rappahannock County Water and Sewer Authority meets at 7:30 p.m. at the Rappahannock County courthouse on Gay Street.
On Monday, March 8, the Town of Washington’s Town Council will hold its regularly scheduled Town Council Meeting at Town Hall at 7:30 p.m. Highlights from the agenda include: updates on the wastewater project, the Water Quality Improvement Grant, and consideration of rules and regulations pertaining to the use of grinder pumps and sewer system by town residents, including materials and substances which should not be deposited into the sewer system.
The Town of Washington solicits letters of interest to fill a vacancy on both the Town of Washington’s Architectural Review Board and the Planning Commission. Residency within the Town is required. On Tuesday, March 9 the Rappahannock County School Board meets at 7 p.m. (closed session) and 7:30 p.m. (public session) at RCHS band room.
The Thursday, March 24 Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) meeting has been canceled.
