Out of the attic

From the Rappsody yearbook of 1961, Rappahannock High School’s first year in operation, this photo was captioned: “Now if you ask me . . .” Said the text beside it: “Behind the production of our annual are hours of work that stretch into months of writing and typing copy, taking pictures, selling . . . ads, meeting with the publisher, planning and changing the dummy, and just plain work. That’s the life of the Rappsody staff.” The yearbook was lent to us by the organizers of the “Across the Years” multi-year reunion being held at the Link in Sperryville at 7 p.m. this Saturday (April 24), for Rappahannock County High School students and staff from the 1960s through the 2000s.
