Letter: Need homeless cat data

RappCats, a volunteer organization working to help homeless cats in the county, is seeking the community’s assistance. We need to understand and document the magnitude and scope of the stray cat problem. This information will help us to plan on long-term strategies to care for homeless felines. We ask that individuals who are aware of stray cats provide us with the approximate location, number and time(s) of observation of these animals. Please e-mail this information to rappcats@rappcats.org or leave a message at 540-987-8099. This fundamental data will assist us in writing grant proposals and in strategic planning to include the exploration of a possible future cat shelter for Rappahannock County.
