Sheriff’s Report for Nov. 25

The Rappahannock County Sheriff’s Office charged Julius Ceasar Lucas, 19, of 24 Mason Mountain Lane, on Nov. 13 with underage possession of alcohol. Deputy Gary Jenkins also charged Lucas with trespassing after he was told by the owner of a place on Hidden Run Lane in Castleton to stay off the property.

A traffic stop Nov. 13 by Deputy Shawn Walters on Sperryville Pike resulted in David W. Franchi-Alfano, 25, of Woodford, Va., being charged with possession of marijuana.

The residence at 540 Mount Salem Ave., Washington, was broken into at around 11:40 a.m. last Saturday (Nov. 20) and ransacked. The incident is under investigation, according to Sheriff Connie Smith.

William David Aronhalt, 22, of 640 Waterloo Road, Warrenton, was charged on Nov. 8 with making profane and threatening phone calls. Aronhalt was also charged with assault and battery on a family/household member in the Amissville area.

In other reports, county volunteer fire departments responded to recent brush fires on Holly Springs Road, Fodderstack Road, Scrabble Road and Round Hill Road. All were extinguished relatively quickly, authorities said.
