Al and Cheryl Kellert, owners and winemakers of Gray Ghost Vineyards and Winery in Amissville, represented Virginia as speakers at the 43rd National Conference of the American Wine Society in Cincinnati, Ohio, on Nov. 12. This was the third year the Kellerts spoke at the conference. They discussed grape growing and winemaking in Virginia and concluded with a tasting of six of Gray Ghost’s internationally awarded wines.
