RAWL Dogs: Riddle

RAWL dog Riddle

I’m often called a devil-may-care sort of fellow. My breed is a “canine classic,” changing little since we appeared in the late 1700s. I’m a young, smooth-coated fox terrier, 12 pounds, easy to train, good on a leash and house-trained. Not surprisingly, I have a Napoleon complex and will challenge big dogs who are hanging about. I am very social with humans, including little ones. I’m ready to leave for my new life, perhaps at your place. Your visit to the shelter is the next step – the ball’s in your court.

This past week, two of my canine colleagues were joined with new owners. The Rappahannock Animal Welfare League (RAWL), 160 Weaver Road, Amissville, is open 8 to 1 daily. Call 540-937-3283 or visit www.rawldogs.org.
