Who will be Rappahannock County’s “Citizen of the Year?” You tell us!
We have already received a few nominations for the return (after a hiatus in 2011) of the Rappahannock News’ annual recognition of those who’ve made a difference in our community. In fact, local artist Becky Parrish has already agreed to paint a portrait of the recipient, which will then be presented to him or her in an appropriate ceremony.
We don’t want to leave out anyone our readers believe is deserving, so send your nominations for the 2012 Rappahannock News Citizen of the Year to us today at 249 Main St., Washington VA 22747 (or email: email@example.com). The only qualification is the winner must be a resident of Rappahannock County.
