Letter: You’re all Linked to our success

The Rappahannock Non-Profit Coalition sincerely thanks the sponsors and others who made the November Business Link Networking Social a huge success. Held at the Griffin Tavern in Flint Hill, and hosted by Debbie Donehey and her wonderful staff, the event was attended by about 40 members of the Rappahannock business community. Rappahannock Cellars graciously poured their wines for a very appreciative crowd. We were happy to celebrate the beginning of our third year!

Other sponsors who made the evening possible were: Country Places Real Estate (Denise Chandler), Critical Stages, LLC (Bill Pragluski), Ginger Hill Antiques (Berni Olson/ Dan Lewis), Golden Retreat for K-9s (Donna McConn), T. G. Taylor Construction (Tom Taylor), Tula’s Off Main (Darla Morres), and Union First Market Bank (Jason Brady). Thanks also to Barney O’Meara and Donna McConn for assisting with additional publicity.

These events are held to give members of the business community an opportunity to meet one another, in a neutral setting, and share what they do and what services they offer. The next event is scheduled for February. If you have questions or are interested in being a sponsor for that event, please contact Jan Makela (540-675-1373 or janmak@mris.com) or Jason Brady (540-683-5413 or jason.brady@bankatunion.com). The events are open to business owners or others who actively support local Rappahannock businesses – including artists, farmers and B&B hosts, as well as other, more traditional white-collar and blue-collar businesses. Stay tuned for more!
