RAWL Dog: Maple

My siblings and I had a tough time early on. When the kind animal-control officer responded to a call about us, he found us bald and starving for both food and attention. But being tough little beagles, with a bit of basset hound mixed in, we survived. Now at RAWL, we’re playing our butts off with our big-dog babysitters – we just love dogs. Even cats are okay. I’m quite neat and crate-trained and really ready for a home. Drop by soon, okay? Maybe we can arrange something.

This past week two of my canine colleagues were joined with new owners. The Rappahannock Animal Welfare League (RAWL), 160 Weaver Road, Amissville, is open 8 to 1 daily. Call 540-937-3283 or visit www.rawldogs.org.
