While Dennis Kelly’s Dec. 10 letter [“Enough trope to hang himself?”] was offensive in many respects, one comment stands out as particularly foolish. He states with respect to the millions of children who have been killed by abortion that, if they are not Jim Gannon’s children, essentially it is none of his business.
Taking this absurd position to its logical conclusion he would have to assert that, unless the six million Jews killed in the Holocaust were our relatives, their deaths were none of our business. Likewise, because the children recently massacred in Connecticut were not our children, their deaths are not our concern. Obviously, Mr. Kelly cut class the day they taught logic in his school.
