Little things mean a lot . . . to the Inn at Little Washington

Washingtonian restaurant critic Todd Kliman reveals how Rappahannock’s own Inn at Little Washington edged out Komi for the top spot in the magazine’s 2013 “100 Very Best Restaurants” this year on the magazine’s “Best Bites” blog. Likening the contest to a 400-meter race won by a matter of four-tenths of a second, Kliman says “a decision like this comes down to little things” — and where Komi’s service was rushed, pasta uneven and desserts flat, the Inn’s service was “flawless” and nearly every dish “not only terrific but also memorable.”
