Spring began this Wednesday (March 21) with winter-like temperatures, wind and clouds. Two days before, the sun had come out and spring-like temperatures had arrived. And a couple of days before that, a few wet inches of snow fell across most of the county, as you can see in these shots sent in by a couple of Rappahannock County’s many excellent photographers. They say we might be having a seasonably warm weekend, but by Sunday night we might be in for more snow or cold rain. “In like a lion, out like a lamb,” as they say of March. We’re ready for the lamb, and the sooner the better.
