Worldwide Knitting In Public Day is being celebrated in several Sperryville locations this Saturday (June 8). A group of knitters meets from 10 to 11:45 a.m. at Central Coffee Roasters, reconvenes from noon to 1:45 at Thornton River Grille, and at 2 p.m. at Knit Wit Yarn Shop. The Bolen Cemetery clean-up and picnic is 11 a.m. June 15. Participants meet at the parking area at the end of Keyser Run Road. Please bring a dish or drink to share and tools for light work. Windmore Foundation for the Arts annual meeting is June 27, at 6 p.m. at the Culpeper Depot (113 South Commerce Street, Culpeper). This meeting is open to members and friends who would like to learn about the foundation. Refreshments will be served.

Hearthstone School’s Let’s Make Music Camp is noon to 4 p.m. for ages 6-12 at the school, June 10-14. The Mountain Adventures camp (swimming, hiking, nature studies, games, crafts and outdoor activities) offers three spots: The Day Camp (ages 4-8) is 9 to 3 p.m. June 17-21 and again June 24-28; the Day Camp for ages 8-13 is 9 to 3 p.m. July 8-12; and the Backpacking section (ages 13-17) is July 15-19.
