Where have the years gone? Twenty-four of the 51 members of the RCHS Class of 1963 answered that question and more at their 50th reunion last Saturday (June 22) at the Flint Hill Public House.
Those attending traded anecdotes and updates over an extended luncheon at the Public House from noon to 4 p.m. Deceased class graduates were remembered with a memorial of flowers and photographs. Marland Clatterbuck, a class member who died of leukemia in his sophomore year, was also honored.
Five graduates who served in Vietnam were present and acknowledged: Doug Atkins, Abe Burke, Louie Miller, Nick Norman and Chuck Smith.
The reunion organizers were Judi North Burke of Huntly, Dorothy Payne Clater of Sperryville, Mary Norman Wiley of Woodville, and Sally Latham Haynes of Sun Lakes, Ariz.
