RC Baseball’s 32-run Saturday

Update Saturday July 20th:
Another big state tournament win for the Rappahannock Culpeper 16-18 Year Olds, sending Augusta home after a 13-3 win. Zach Dudley lead off the RC half of the 1st inning with a solo home run, Bradlee Frye collected 2 two-run home runs (3 total for the day) and Jermaine Butler pitched the complete game for the win. The bats were on fire all day up and down the order, for the 2 games played today RC sent 32 runs across the plate.

Coach Dodson is reporting “I could not be prouder of the way these boys are playing, they are playing awesome baseball. They way we’re playing, people will know Rappahannock came to play!”

Next game is tomorrow at 4PM against the loser of the Greater Fairfax/North Fairfax game tomorrow morning. Great job today players and coaches!! And lets not forget the parents down with these boys keeping things moving along, great job to all of you as well!!

Update Saturday July 20th:
Solid win for the 16-18 Year Olds defeating Lunenburg 19-9 in 6 innings. Zach Dudley hit a grand slam, Bradley Frye added a 2 run homer and Dylan Hitt pitched for the win. All the bats came to life from the top to the bottom of the order. Now for some much needed rest and another game tonight at 7PM against Augusta! Great job players and coaches.

Update Friday July 19th:
Tough loss for the boys, going down to Vienna 15-1. Game tomorrow at 1PM against Lunenburg.
