Last Sunday (Nov. 3) was a banner day for RappCats, as Sheriff Connie Smith (left) and organization president Pat Snyder cut the ribbon and officially opened the Flint Hill cat adoption center — the first of its kind in the county. More than 150 people attended the ceremony, including Trinity Episcopal Church’s Rev. Jennings Hobson, who blessed the center, workers and resident cats. “All I could think . . . is how grateful I am for all of the involvement, help and support from members of our community and beyond,” said Snyder.
