Tryouts for the Virginia Thunder, a USSSA travel baseball team based out of the Rappahannock area, are 5 to 7 p.m. consecutive Saturdays (Feb. 1 and 8) at the Rappahannock County Auxiliary Gym (34 Schoolhouse Rd., Washington, behind RCES). All players ages 13 to 14 are welcome to attend. Players should wear non-marking gym or tennis shoes and bring all necessary equipment.
