Photos: Another snow day

Last Wednesday and Thursday’s 12- to 17-inch snowfall around the county cancelled school around the region but offered time for first-hand study of ice floes on the Thornton River and the sort of climbable but temporary mountains left by snowplows. Police and rescue squads reported no major accidents or injuries due to the storm; most everyone followed directions — and stayed home.
