Photos: It’s a (frozen) jungle out there

In Castleton Monday, assorted imported animals coped with yet another snowfall (and dropping temperatures), either by ignoring the five to seven inches of white stuff that fell across the county (like the llama, donkey and zebra) or waiting indoors for spring to arrive (like the camels, and according to Shawn Walters, who took these photos, like most Rappahannock residents, who appeared to be staying home and staying warm). On Walters’ afternoon check of the trackless Castleton View Road, in fact, he came across a downed tree across the road that no one had yet noticed.
