About 30 were on hand last week to celebrate the reopening of Tula’s off Main at a pre-opening reception at the newly reopened and completely renovated restaurant in Washington’s Kramer Building. Co-owners Andy and Ken Thompson were on hand for a spectacular dinner by executive chef Tom Nash and his crew, which included Darla Morres, who started up Tula’s not quite two years ago as a coffee, breakfast and lunch spot. Over the last four months, the Thompsons turned it into a full-service restaurant, and are adding a pub adjacent to the restaurant, expected to open in early summer.
