Letter: Thank you all for keeping the Coffee House hot

The Rappahannock County High School Band Boosters would like to extend our gratitude and appreciation to the many Rappahannock County individuals and businesses that helped to make our annual Coffee House fundraiser on May 9 a grand success.

To our sponsors, whose support helped defray our expenses: Cheri and Martin Woodward Realtors, Jan Makela & BH&G Real Estate III, Living Sky Foundation, River District Arts and Stonewall Abbey Yoga. To the musicians who so generously gave their time and talents and were such a delight: Grass Fed, Mandalélé, A Thousand Trees, the Turkey Ridge String Band and our own award-winning RCHS Jazz Band.

To all the local businesses who generously provided donations for our raffle fundraiser during the event: B&B Service Center, Beech Spring Arts & Crafts, the Castleton Festival, Coterie, The Glassworks Gallery, The Hair Gallery, The Inn at Little Washington, Little Washington Wellness Spa, The Rappahannock Americana Music Festival, R.H. Ballard Shop & Gallery, Shaw’s Services, Spirit Trail Fiberworks, The Theatre at Washington, Thornton River Grille and Williams Tree & Landscaping Service. To Central Coffee Roasters and Triple Oak Bakery, for supplying coffee and gluten-free desserts for our event.

To the Rappahannock News, members of RappNet and all the local businesses who hung our flyers in their shops and offices, for helping us get the word out. To the RCHS administration and school board, for supporting the arts and our band program, which are so important to the overall success of our students.

To all of our RCHS Band families, who endlessly donate their time and resources to help make our music program a success for all of our young, aspiring musicians. And to all the members of our community who attended our Coffee House, thank you! We thank each and every one of these community members for your support of our students and our program!
