Students in second and fourth grade are usually not published authors. But Wakefield Country Day School students, most of whom pose here, recently had a book they wrote published. “Amazing Stories” is a collaborative effort between the fourth-grader and their reading buddies in the second grade at the school. The WCDS writers created stories, added illustrations to enhance the text and worked together on the layout of their book. Teacher April Heddleston worked with the students for several weeks to bring the published work to completion.
